Hi Cathy, the water taxi would be the quickest way across the bay. It takes about 20 minutes to get across versus an hours drive around the bay, but the drive is worth it….some very beautiful scenery as you drive around the bay….hope this helps!!!
Glad to find this info. I took a boat across in the 60s and what stays with me is the glorious 360 degrees of scenery which can be totally enjoyed from the boat. Can’t do that from a car. Also it is faster, and more ecological! Maybe I’ll do it again next year.
Water taxi helped us find a taxi to the table lands him. 5 km ride and 20$ per person return. We thought that was excessive price for a 15 minute ride, especially since the water taxi was 14$ return. Disappointing to be taken advantage of.
