Veteran’s Memorial Garden Committee update:
As of October 18, 2018 we are getting ready to place fill and level the area for top soil and sod which will be laid in the spring. When the sods have been laid we will be putting together some ideas for the layout of the garden. At that time we will seek input from the community to what they would like to see in the Veteran’s Memorial Garden. The committee is hoping to have most if not all of the work done by local contractors and/or volunteers in the area.
To date we have raised over $20,000.00 with the support of many individuals and groups.
On behalf of the Veteran’s Memorial Garden Committee I would like to thank all of the individuals and groups that have supported our ongoing project.
Thank you
Stephen Gaillott
Chairperson of the Veteran’s Memorial Garden Committee
